OUR STORY
Who is behind Montresor Cattery?
Now this is probably one of the most important information this website can give you. When you look for a kitten for your family, you aim for a furry friend who will be healthy and bring lots or warmth and joy to your family.
The secret to find the right cat for your family, is how this cat is handled from birth (and even before).
My name is Catherine, and I come from New Caledonia, which is a beautiful warm country full of light and happiness.
I have had Siamese cats since a very young age, when my mother came home with this beautiful Old Style Seal point Siamese female. We called her Reah, and she had a few beautiful litters. I grew up with our clever Siamese, and they stayed with us until the ripe age of over 22 years old!(the cats were 22 years old and more).
Now I have children myself, and wanted to give them the joy of growing up surrounded by these amazing creatures, just like I did as a child. The excitment of coming back from school, awaited by these pretty kittens, who were wrapping their tails around my legs as I would practice my violin.
We now live in the Beautiful Far North Queensland, and our cattery is registered with Queensland Feline Association.
Our kittens and cats live with us, share every moment of our life, climb up the Chrismas tree, sleep with us at night, and still listen to my violin!
We also have a specific goal: Breeding healthy Siamese, and contributing to the preservation of these astonishing cats, as well as making each one of the Montresor cat happy forever. This implies finding the right family for each one of our babies.
